Founders of CRUX chosen for the UN Millennium Fellowship

We are excited to announce that the founders of CRUX were selected for the Millennium Fellowship!

Chosen from more than 60,000 applicants with an acceptance rate of 4%, Gaja, Hanna, and Lea are honored to have been selected for this prestigious leadership program. They are excited to join the 2025 cohort together with the other inspiring Fellows chosen from Minerva University and other universities from across the world.

The Millennium Fellowship is presented by the United Nations Academic Impact and MCN to support undergraduate leaders in creating social impact for the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Gaja, Hanna, and Lea will leverage the Fellowship to elevate CRUX's upcoming production on the rediscovery of nature and indigenous identity on the Okinawa island in Japan. The film will empower the Youth Ocean Summit we will host around its premiere later this year in Tokyo.
